Notes

KSA thought she was from Leeds and had a brother in the Royal Marines.

Spinster of 22 on marriage certificate. No fathers details given but witnessed by AA & JB Preece: these initials do not fit with any currently known Preeces
Is identified as Ada Ambler formerly Adams on both George Edward, Walter, and Doris Lydia birth certificates, but Enid claims formerly Preece on Clifford's.

According to Mary (Doris's daughter):
Mother's name probably PREECE
Was HIRST at time of death in either 1967/68 at either 72 Buttershaw Drive or Stoneyridge Hosptial.
Bust up at funeral between Doris & Clifford - possibly over open coffin.

Enid Kimber talks of your Great Grandmother Preece to Ruth Ambler, ie - Ada's mother is called Preece. Also says she came to Mrs Hanks' (the woman Harry lodged with) after Harry's death to obtain death certificate to claim a pension and rail pass. Had a brothers Charles and Walter who had a girl each. Lived in a street off Otley Rd at some point, with Doris & Mary living next door.

Assumed the name Baldwin after her mother's first husband.
